Anubias Barteri Broad Leaf

Anubias Barteri Broad Leaf is a full-bodied variation of classic Barteri. Its large, rounded leaves develop a waxy sheen at maturity, creating a dense, lush appearance that’s perfect for filling open space in planted aquariums and aquascapes. Anubias are hardy aquatic plants, well-suited for a variety of freshwater setups. Their thick leaves also withstand nibbling from fish like fancy goldfish or cichlids.

Its abundant foliage provides safe hiding spots for smaller fish and invertebrates. Epiphytic in nature, they can be easily attached to driftwood, rocks, or nestled into crevices in your layout. Alternatively, it would work beautifully in Wabi Kusa displays, terrariums, or emersed sections in paludariums. While not required, Anubias Barteri Broad Leaf does best in mature tanks and will benefit from CO2 injection and quality plant fertilizers.
